Pippa dress

My latest (21/02/12) little girls dress design was surprisingly inspired by a fish! I watched a TV programme about the Great Barrier Reef and saw a purple and orange fish. The dress is called ‘Pippa’ and is for girls aged 3. The trendy double hanky hem design is in a plain purple cloth with a sweetheart neckline. It is sleeveless, with two buttons at the back and a pop of colour with a detachable belt in orange /lime green which is reversible to feature either colour. The dress has a lined bodice, French seams and would certainly attract admiring glances.

The sleeveless dress has a lovely sweetheart neckline, lined bodice and has two buttons at the back. The high bodice falls to a double layer of fabric with pointed hanky hem creating movement and gentle folds. The dress comes with a detachable fabric belt in orange / lime green which can be worn with either colour showing and has securely sewn on poppers to close.
Chest 24 ins, 61 cms, Waist , as the dress has a high bodice, the attached skirt falls in generous folds so a waist measurement is not needed, Length from shoulder seam to shortest part of hem is 18.5 ins 47 cms and the longest point is 24.5 ins 63 cms.
